What is Float Your Fanny? Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny is a 10km race along the Ganaraska River to commemorate the 1980 flood that crippled Port Hope's downtown area.
Rainbow Trout Migration Statement There has always been discussion about the impact Float Your Fanny has on the river and the migrating fish. The local committee works closely every year with the Town of Port Hope, Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry with regards to using the river for the event.
