Float your Fanny Down the Ganny Receives Provincial Funding

Port Hope, ON – The new 2012 Float Your Fanny Committee is very excited to announce that Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny 2012 has received a substantial Celebrate Ontario grant from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.

“This grant will allow us to bring the Start to the Finish. What this means is that we are now going to be able to video the start of the Crazy Craft Race at Sylvan Glen, and show the video at the Finish Area on a large LED Screen. There will also be cameras along the river from the File Factory to the Finish allowing us to show live footage of the race to spectators watching along the banks. The entire Committee has been working very hard and is extremely excited to see our ‘Vision’ for the 2012 Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny coming to life.” exclaims Barrileigh Price, Co Chair of the 2012 Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny Committee.
