Participants and spectators are encouraged to celebrate Canada 150 during the annual spring event. Participants are encouraged to enter their craft or costume with a Canadian theme, while spectators are invited to dress in ‘Red and White’to celebrate Canada 150 with us.

Fannyville has an event village feel at the finish line.

  • There will be live audio commentary as the participants come down the final section of the course.
  • The finish line is on dry land, where one member of each team must run across the finish line to stop the clock.
  • Spectators will be able to view all the craft in a ‘pit lane’ area.
  • There will be live entertainment with a music stage and buskers.
  • A number of food and drink vendors along the river banks.
  • There will be activities for kids of all ages in the fun zones.
  • The Awards Ceremony will be at 2.15pm, right after the last craft has crossed the line.

Please come and enjoy the event at ‘Fannyville’, and make a day of it in Port Hope!
